Fundraising

There are many ways to support the Co-op!

 

  • Anyone can give any time via Paypal: Donate

​

  • The 13th Month Fundraiser is our primary fundraising channel -- it’s where the Co-op expects to get the bulk of its non-tuition revenue, and where families should plan to make the bulk of their contributions. It’s called 13th Month because we set our goal for it as a percentage of monthly tuition revenue, so the funds it raises constitute (part of) a 13th month of the year.   • Teacher/staff bonus drive:  In lieu of individual holiday gifts, it's our tradition at the Co-op to give a big community-wide gift by all contributing to a pool that is split up and distributed to the teachers & staff as cash bonuses before the holidays. So in December, we do a targeted drive to fund year-end bonuses for our teachers & staff as a way of saying thank you to them for being so terrific and dedicated. Our goal usually averages out to be in the neighborhood of $100 per family.

 

It’s also possible to donate to the Denise Pilkey Scholarship Fund or Sunshine Fund, either as a recurring or one-time donation.

  • Denise Pilkey Scholarship Fund ---- In honor of former Sun Room teacher, Denise Pilkey, we dedicate this fund in her name to provide opportunities for all families to have access to quality early childhood education.

​

  • Sunshine Fund --- In order to bring some sunshine into our staff’s lives, we use this fund to provide for celebrations, food, and morale boosting for our staff all year long.
